Loo Series by joel Sampson

This series started with a couple of snapshot self-portraits in a public "loo" and has evolved. I'm having fun doing the series and the response has been very positive. Several images have been included in prestigious group shows. I look for unusual, elegant, funky or famous loos. Occasionally they also become a group portrait!

I'm shooting this series with a variety of compact Sony Point & Shoot cameras. I started with a Sony T-9 and a Sony T-100 digital camera. I'm now using a Sony W300 13.6 megapixel camera. It's very small and I carry one everywhere I go. The images are printed using an Epson printer with archival pigmented ink on watercolor paper.
